In-the-Making, a nonprofit employment and training corporation, is an alternative method of meeting the needs of unemployed and underemployed women. Through development of work, personal and spiritual skills, the individual recognizes creative resources within herself and exercises those skills in the workplace. In-the-Making utilizes several approaches in this effort.

OUR MISSION

Motivated by the belief in the Goodness and Wisdom of every person, IN-THE-MAKING, INC. exists to offer personal/economic development to under-employed and unemployed women. We,therefore, commit ourselves to be an alternative employment/training program by working in ways which complement and strengthen one another in the workplace and in the community. We focus on maximizing resources of women to be a force for change on behalf of other women and children.
